Another Christmas card. I love this reindeer, but not so sure about the red and green background. I guess it definitely looks like a Christmas card. I used Gypsy Wanderings for this one. I am totally loving my Gypsy and all of the pretty cuts that are included in the exclusive cartridges. Since I've had my Gypsy I've used the Gypsy Wanderings and the Gypsy Font more than any of my other carts. They are very versatile and elegant. If anyone is debating whether or not they should get a Gypsy, I give it a big thumbs up. It makes the Cricut so much easier to use and allows so much more flexibility with the cartridges. I say go for it.

Family Christmas Card
It has been so long since I posted anything to my blog. I'm going to try to be better and add things more often. I've just been so busy lately with the holidays and trying to make Christmas cards for everyone. I can't believe we're coming up to the end of another year. This card was made for family members. I'm hoping to get a family photo that will go inside, but it's not that easy to get two grown sons to cooperate. Wish me luck.
California Cow Christmas
This is a card I made for my Dad. He lives in Montana and has some cows - but they're not California Cows! This card is just a little tease towards him for moving away. The inside says "from California".

Merry Cricut-mas!
I got this idea from a member on the Cricut Message Board. It was too cute to pass up. I will be sending this special card to my sister. She's my Cricut cutting buddy and the only one in my family that will understand it.

Feel better soon
Happy Thursday everyone! I am so far behind that I'm going to post a few things today. My Uncle was not feeling well recently and I had been wanting to make a get well card like this for a long time. I think the bed and everything came out really cute. All cuts are from EDPD except the lettering. The doll and the pillow are cut at 4" and the bed is cut at 5". The font is Plantin Schoolbook cut at 1"

Cupcake Birthday Card and Envelope
Purrrfect Birthday
Happy Thursday everyone! Today is my Friday, so I'm super happy. Tomorrow I'll be at the Oakland A's game with my hubby's business - having a big customer appreciation day. I'll be the photographer - so lots of pictures! Today I'm posting a card that I made last night. I've seen these Tri-shutter cards on line and had to try one. I still need a little practice, but love the concept. This one will be for my SIL. Hope she likes it.

Highlighted in the Cricut Chirp
Hi everyone. I am so excited that my card was highlighted in the Cricut Chirp. It was dated September 14, 2009, Vol 173. I just recently set up my blog and started posting my cards on the Cricut message board, so I was very surprised. Everyone on the message boards have such beautiful things posted. I didn't think any of my cards would ever make it in the Chirp. I have definitely got to step up my game now. It's so nice of Provo Craft to provide the Chirp and the message boards so that we can all get inspiration and motivation from each other. I, for one, am now motivated to do even more and to do a better job. Thanks to everyone that took the time to post comments - another form of motivation. Cindy

Thinking of you
I got a phone call from my Dad a few days ago to let me know that this weekend is Grandparents day. (he tells me that every other month or so, so I wasn't sure if it really was or not) I looked at the calendar and sure enough - Grandparents day is September 13th! Yikes! I got busy and put some Grandparent cards together. This one is for my Mom. I used paper from the Rhonna Farrer Autumn Leaves paper stack and Alphalicious Cricut cartridge for the sentiment - cut at 1 3/4". I'm mailing it today and hope she gets it tomorrow ;)

Nurse Card
Love, love, love the new Everyday Paper Dolls Cart. It has everyone! I made this card for my sister. She works at a hospital full time and is also going to school to further her education. She doesn't get much spare time and certainly not enough time for crafting. The inside of the card says, "You deserve a break today". Of course I mean a break to have craft time - not a broken leg or anything. Heehee.

Too sweet
Another card. Not sure when I'll get back to scrapbooking. I'm having way too much fun with cards right now. this one was made using the sucker from PDDU cut at 6 1/2", the blast back drop from Plantin SB cut at 3" and the lettering is from Teardrop at 1".
It's a little hard to see the "t" at the end of sweet in this picture. After I took this I moved the ribbon a little higher out of the way.

This is just a fun little card to say "hi". I used Pooh & Friends cart. Owl is cut at 4", the tree branch was cut at 5" and the beehive was cut off. The letters are Plantin SB cut at 1".

Back to School
This isn't the best picture, but you get the idea. I made this card for my husbands God-Daughter. She just went off to college and we wanted to wish her the best of luck and lots of fun. The font is Plantin Schoolbook.

21st Birthday
Poker Shark Card
This past weekend we celebrated the birthdays of our two boys. Michael turned 21 and Christopher (our little poker player) turned 18. I had to make them extra special cards for these extra special birthdays. These pictures are the front and inside of Christopher's "Poker" Birthday card.

Penguin Card
This is a Christmas card I made for my son and his new fiance after they announced their engagement last November. My son is a big fan of penguins and thinks there must be a way he can own one of his own.
The Penguins are from the Christmas Cheer Cartridge. The scarf on each of them is also from Christmas Cheer. It is one of the layers from the snowman cut out.
