Happy Monday friends. I was able to get another week completed for Project Life, but was not able to catch up like I wanted. I have a really good excuse though :-) My older son and his wife hosted a 25th wedding anniversary party for my husband and I on Saturday. It was a beautiful party with all of our family and friends there. I will share some of those pictures in another post sometime this week.
For now Here is week 4.
Not too many photos this week, but lots of journaling again. The title card is pretty simple this week. I added some strips of paper and then the date on top. I used Close to my Heart's Art Philosophy cartridge for the letters. They were cut at 1.25" and .8"
The last day of this week was the day we flew to Maui for our 25th wedding anniversary. I wanted to add a Cricut cut to signify our plane ride. I chose Pack your Bags for the plane. It was cut at 1.25". The last 3x4 card on this page was made using Jubilee for the letters cut at 1.25" and a sun cut at 16" from Pack your Bags, which I cut in half to leave room for the words below it.
That's all for today. I'll be back soon with pictures from the party and another week from My Life. I will also be working on some Thank You cards and some layouts to share. See you next time. Cindy

My Life Monday - Project Life wk 2
What a week it was. It all started off with my birthday on Monday. My younger son took me and my husband out to dinner to celebrate and also bought me a big piece of cake. (not the best week for trying to lose weight). It was super sweet and we had a good time at dinner.
I wanted my title card to reflect my birthday week so I chose Birthday Bash for the funny bird. I then used Art Philosophy for the font, a strip of washi tape and a little stamping.
The week was extremely cold and my space heater in my scraproom got a work-out. Evidently I'm not the only one that enjoys it though. Everytime I plug it in I find Olivia laying in front of it.
I added the picture of my desk at work because it was such a crazy, stressful day at work. Our computer guy came in because the computers were doing weird things. At first he thought our computers were hacked and that it started with my computer. Luckily it was just a virus and it DIDN'T start with my computer. He got us back up and running before the work day was over.
This week I got my first ever flu shot. It's been all over the news that the flu has hit epidemic proportions and that everyone should get the shot if they are able to find one. I guess California is one of only 3 states where the flu hasn't peaked yet and a lot of places have run out of the vaccine.
The rest of the week included getting my hair done and football all weekend. (Go 49ers!) The very last picture is of my sweet hubby washing our vehicles. I'm so glad he washes them because it's too cold for me.
Well, that's my life for the week. The next couple of weeks are going to be busy so it might be tough to keep myself on schedule, but I'm going to try. I may not get any layouts done though.

The Big House Hunt layout
Welcome to the weekend! The sun is shining, flowers blooming and the birds are singing. Sounds like a great day, right? Well, it would be except that I have a nasty cold that won't let me sleep, breathe or feel like doing anything. Yep, I think it's a sweats and craft room day. I'm just gonna lock myself away and see what I come up with.
Todays layout has actually been done for about a week, but I haven't had to the energy to take pictures and post it. When I finally decided to post it today I realized it didn't even have a title yet! Good thing I'm spending my day in my room. I cut the title out with my Cricut and the Jubilee cartridge. Then I printed the Must Haves list and Like to Have list from my computer.
The sketch is another one from PageMaps 2. This one is pg 74. It was a single page layout that I made into a two page spread.
The leafy vines were cut at 2 1/2 and 3 inches from the Circle Exclusive cartridge Sophie. Also from this cartridge are the bird cut at 6 inches, the Circles cut at 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 inches and the Scallop Circles cut at 4 1/2 and 3 inches. The notebook border punch is from EK Success.

What a difference a title and little journaling can make. LOL. Now I can call this layout done. Have a wonderful weekend. Cindy

Khloe 8 Months layout
I'm finally here with a new layout. I used the same sketch as I did a few weeks ago for my son's 8 month layout. I think I still need to add something to the right side page, but I'll figure that out later.
I used Art Philosophy for the Dragonfly, the pointy scallop trim and the rounded scallop trim. I also used Art Philosophy for the scalloped circles. George was used for the round cuts. The font is from Jubilee.
I'm working on my calling cards and stuff for Vegas, so hopefully I'll get those posted in the next day or two. Have a great weekend everyone.

Baby Boy layout
Talk about perfect timing. I was working on this layout yesterday and got stuck in the middle of it. I couldn't find the Cricut cuts I wanted to use on the cartridges I already have. I needed a scallop circle and scallop border. I also needed a pointy border (not sure what else to call it). All of a sudden the doorbell rang. I went to check and it was my Close To My Heart order with the Art Philosophy cartridge in it! I was so excited, I immediately opened the package and looked through the booklet. It had everything I wanted. Yay!
I know this isn't the most organized layout. I was trying to add as many pictures as I could to the second page. The dragonfly is also from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The only thing not from that cartridge is the font for the title.
The sketch I used is another one from Pagemaps. It was a single page sketch so I was on my own to make the messy 2nd page. LOL.
Now I'm off to work on my girl version. I have the photos picked out. Just have to pick my papers and get started. Have a wonderful rest of the holiday weekend everyone.
