Day 21-24, December Daily

I'm finished all the way up to Christmas Eve. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will continue until December 31st though. I like having the whole month in one album.

December 21 and 22:

Day 21: I had stayed the night at my son and daughter in law's on the 20th so on the 21st I woke up to Khloë telling me I had to go see what her elves had done. (I might add that she was eating a marshmallow as she was tugging at me to come see). We walked into the hall bathroom and saw the elves taking a marshmallow bath in the sink. Too funny.

Day 22 I realized there was no way I could do another thing in my scraproom until I cleared some space. How does it get this bad? Also saw this cute smoosh faced puppy at the bank. She was like a tiny different colored Scooter. Lol.

December 23 and 24:

Day 23 I didn't do much of anything except get ready for Christmas. That included filling up the car for our drive on Christmas morning. Gas prices are sooooo low right now. Loving it.

Day 24. Christmas Eve was finally here. I loved watching the girls open presents. Khloë was the funniest. She would open something, exclaim how much she loved it and then toss it aside to open another. Kylee just had fun opening anything she could get her hands on.

On Christmas Eve we had our own little Christmas together before the arrival of husbands side of the family. Then we got to do it all again. I added flip pages to this page so that you could see more pictures underneath.

Next will be Christmas Day! I don't know how I'll decide on the pictures to use. I might need a lot of flip pages. Hopefully I can get them finished in the next couple of days, but not tonight. Tonight we all go out to dinner for my birthday. See you soon.

Day 15, 16, 17 and 18 - December Daily

Making progress.

Day 15 I went to pick up my "driving" glasses after work.  They were finally done and I was able to try them out for the first time. Let me just say that it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. But for the record, the dent on the side in the white part was not from me. Somebody hit my parked car in the garage at work. Of course there are three floors of offices and nobody came forward to tell they did it. Grrr.
The damage I did is barely noticeable. It's in the chrome and rubber part of the bumper at the bottom. Still doesn't make me happy, but I'd rather have that than the big dent on the side.

Day 16 I rewarded myself for all the work and shopping I've been doing for Christmas with a yummy Cinnabon. (and one for morning).Heehee.

Day 17 I finally found some cutting boards for the Christmas presents I wanted to make. They didn't have any at the store everyone was talking about so I had to find them somewhere else. I really like the way they turned out. I got the idea from the Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space Facebook page. Betty Biswell shared the file that she created and let us use it for our personal use.  She did a great job and made it so easy to use.

Day 18 was Khloë's birthday. Her class had a little party for her and then we all went out to dinner at her favorite place. Can you believe it's been four years already?!

Well I'm over half way done. More pages to come soon.

Days 12, 13 and 14 December Daily

Hello everyone. I wasn't able to post my progress yesterday because of technical difficulties. Ugh! My laptop is borderline out of space and won't let me do some of the things I need to do. Luckily my iPad works perfectly.
I'm making good progress on my December Daily album.  I have three more days ready to share. I have a couple others done but haven't taken pictures of them yet.  Hopefully I'll get that done today.
Day 12:

On the 12th the rain continued.

After getting home from work and shopping I started working on Christopher's room. We're taking everything out, painting, getting the carpet cleaned and then putting everything back that makes the cut.

The 13th and 14th:

The 13th was Khloë 's 4th birthday party. Princesses Ana and Elsa even came to visit.

The next day was just a lazy day at home. Cake for breakfast and then wrapping presents.

Be back soon.

Day 8, 9, 10 and 11 December Daily

Hello and Happy January 2nd. I hope everyone had a wonderful start to the new year. I loved having the day off work. Got a few more pages completed in my December Daily. I was also able to do a little cleaning in my craft room and put some things away. There is now a noticeable amount of floor space that is showing. Still not much room on my desk, but I'll get there.

Four more pages completed in my December Daily! I'm pretty happy with my progress lately since I got started so late. Here are pages 8 & 9.

December 8th was just a normal work day. Nothing special, but I did have an eye appointment after work. As I suspected my eyes are getting worse as I get older. I got my first pair of glasses last year for reading. This year the eye doctor suggested adding a second pair for driving. She said it would help my eyes not feel so fatigued and make driving at night easier because the glare from the lights wouldn't be as bad. Stay tuned for the follow up story.

December 9th Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was on tv. It was the first Christmas movie of the season for me. At this point I was trying really hard to convince myself that it was that time of year. The days have gone by so fast and I am not ready. What happened to summer?

December 10th and 11th:

December 10th we had a very yummy breakfast put on by the building management at work. I'm not usually a big breakfast person, but I thought about going back and getting a second plate. The potatoes were my favorite.

After work I had to get gas (so that I could get to work again the next day). The lines were crazy long. I guess everyone was taking the weather man seriously when they said it was going to be the worst storm in 10 years and that we should prepare. Luckily I stopped at Starbucks before getting in line.

On the 11th the rain continued. I had to work so I could only hope everything was okay at home. We have some large redwood trees on the hill behind us and I was hoping they would still be standing when I got home. We get a lot of wind in our area so I was also worried about the fence holding up. I didn't want the dogs to get out during the storm. Luckily everything was fine at home. Just a few puddles that hadn't drained. Scooter was smart and stayed in the garage where it was warm and dry. Coco of course was like any two year old. She was having the time of her life running around in the rain and jumping in puddles. Silly girl.

See you again tomorrow with a few more pages.

Day 4, 5, 6 and 7

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is off to a good start. I got a few more pages done and photographed. At this rate I should have my December Daily completed by the end of January.

Day 4 and 5:

Day 4 I made a list of all the things that need to be cleaned, organized and purged from the house in order to sell it. The list was about 4 pages long! After wearing myself out just thinking about all the stuff that needs to be done I stopped by Starbucks and then picked up a pizza for dinner (Hubby is still golfing).

Day 5 I went shopping for some plastic totes to pack things into and out of the house. I also bought a new bathroom shower curtain and matching rugs to spruce the place up. As soon as I put the rug on the floor Starlet claimed it as her own. I guess she approved.

Days 6 and 7:

On Day 6 I went to son and daughter in law's. I spent the day with the girls crafting. We went to Michael's Craft Store, picked up lunch and then crafted the day away.

While I was crafting the day before my sweet husband went out and got our Christmas tree. He had it all set up in the living room when I got home so the next day I could decorate it. While I decorated inside he was outside hanging the lights on the house. After all the decorating we went down "the list" of things to be done and ended up cleaning out the kitchen cabinets. One more thing checked off!

Happy New Year!
Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
