Circle Mania continues...

Saturday we woke up to beautiful weather. The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect and we had more shopping to do. LOL.

Sofia (CaliforniaRose) and myself at Archivers. We don't have any of these stores back in California. I think I bought enough stuff in two days to last until the next meet-up! Now my biggest concern is getting it home. Eeeeks!

Sunday a man had come to the hotel and was selling scrapbook stuff out of the back of his van. It was quite strange, but of course I had to go check it all out. Supposedly he had come across a woman that was getting rid of everything and he bought it from her, but didn't know what to do with it. Hmmmm, hopefully that was really the case and it wasn't a disgruntled husband selling things out from under his unsuspecting wife.

Does this sound like a drug dealer selling drugs or what? I got a couple of things, but not much because I was still worried about how to get everything home.

We had a really good dinner Friday and Saturday night at the hotel. Friday my favorite was the barbeque pulled pork and the pecan pie. Saturday night the chicken parmesan and chocolate cake were De-licous! Breakfast was always good too. There's just something yummy about waking up to fresh cut up fruit every morning. And I didn't have to cut it up myself!

Sunday night we were on our own for dinner so I joined a bunch of the girls for a trip to the Cheesecake Factory. Don't laugh at me, but I really did not know they served food. I thought it was just a big cheesecake shop. I was fine with just eating cheesecake for dinner, but I must say they do have some yummy food and drinks. I had fettuchine alfredo and a strawberry daiquiri.

Not only was it yummy, there was a lot of it. I had to order my cheesecake to go. I got the caramel turtle cheesecake and nibbled on it back at the hotel while relaxing in bed. Awe, the life. I could get used to that. Of course I'd probably gain a couple hundred pounds too (-:

This is a picture of Donna (ScrappyMama) taking my picture while I was taking hers at dinner.

I really should have left my big camera at home because all I used was my phone. It would have saved me some room in my suitcase for more scrappy things.

My last picture is of my Cricut Plushie and Penguin (from the Cheesecake Factory) for Khloë, safe at home. I can hardly wait for her to come over and see her new babies.

Circle Mania in Georgia

Those that know me know that I am not a morning person. I'm not sure why I waited until the last minute to pack, but I found myself packing for the Circle Mania event in Georgia just before walking out the door to the airport. What does that mean? It means that I had to get up early even though my flight wasn't until 11:13! This is me at the airport still half asleep because I hadn't found Starbucks yet.

My flight was supposed to leave at 11:13, but was delayed a few minutes until 11:30. Not too bad since some of the other Circle members were delayed for hours.

The flight was long, but didn't have any problems so I'm thankful for that. I watched two movies on the plane which helped pass the 4 hours and 15 minute flight.

We got to the hotel sometime after 11:00 pm so we didn't stay up too long before heading up to bed. The next morning I woke up to rain! Does it ever fail that it rains whenever I go on vacation? Rain in Las Vegas, rain in Hawaii and now rain in Georgia.

Not to worry, we still had fun. A bunch of us girls went shopping at a couple of local scrapbook stores and then had a delicious lunch.

Back at the hotel we did some crafting and a whole lotta laughing.

Circlets take Vegas!

I'm back home now, but boy did I have fun the last few days. We left on Wednesday for Las Vegas, Nevada.

On Thursday I had lunch with my Circle Sisters.

I had so much fun with everyone. During lunch I had to snap this picture of Cassandra, Linda (TulipCollector) and Angie as they showed us their matching bags. I think TulipCollector made these. They were adorable.

After lunch Rita and I went to Angie's room to check out the things she had planned for the Saturday Crop. Angie is so incredibly talented. Her room was full of things she made and things she was bringing for the girls to have fun with. Now that the crop is well on it's way I can share a couple of pictures with you.  This first picture is Angie holding the Vegas Board she made to display at the crop. Did I say "talented"?!

This next picture is Angie, myself and Rita wearing the costumes Angie brought so that the Circlets could have a photo-op with Elvis! How fun is that?!

The next day (Friday) we met at a local scrapbook store and had a circle crop.

There were 20 of us girls there and I don't think we really got much done. (I know I didn't) It was so fun to meet eachother and chat.
After the crop we headed off to the Bootlegger for dinner.

Then it was time to take a group photo under the Vegas sign. It was perfect timing as there was a big group of good looking guys in texedos more than willing to take a picture with us. Only in Vegas Baby!

Thank you Angie for a great time. I can hardly wait for the next meet-up.
Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
