Season Everything with Love

Good morning. Today is my day to post over on the Cricut FANatics blog. Please go over there and check out all of the details on my project.

With all of the holidays we're having these days I wanted to spruce up the house a little. I don't have any Thanksgiving decorations and the Christmas decorations aren't out yet, so I decided to add a little vinyl to the wall. I found this quote on Pinterest and immediately knew that I wanted it for above my stove.

It's funny how you don't notice how empty a space is until you put something there. I never knew the wall behind the stove looked empty or bare until I saw it with vinyl. Now my eyes are drawn to it. I guess I'd better keep the stove clean now, right? Have a wonderful day and Happy December.

It's A Wrap Blog Hop

Welcome to the It’s a Wrap Blog Hop hosted by Cool Beans By L.B. Do you like to receive gifts? How about give them? Well this hop is all about the outside…the wrapping; Gift bags, boxes, baskets and more. There are 22 wonderful stops on this hop and we hope you will take some time to stop in and see everything we have created for you.

You should have arrived here from, Amy from Amy’s Digi-Scrapshttp://scrap-pix.blogspot.com/. If you are just finding our hop in the middle you can go to the beginning at Cool Beans By L.B.

For my project I made a gift bag with my stash. A few weeks ago I posted about a baby brag book I made for my mom. I decided to make a matching gift bag to put it in when I give it to her. Here is a picture of the book and the gift bag together.
The bag was recycled from one I got at my last dentist appointment. It was a nice white handle bag and only needed to be dressed up a bit. Here is a picture of the bag "before".

I used my Cricut Imagine and the Nursery Tails cartridge for the front of the bag. I chose the image I wanted to print and cut in layers and chose fit to page.  Everything was pop dotted and then added to the front of the bag.
For the green and pink background I used the Storybook cartridge and embossed the green with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder. Once that was done I used the Tags Bags Boxes and More cartridge to cut out a tag. Then I added a couple of Imagine - Nursery Tails cuts to the front of it.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my project today and following along the hop.

I am offering some fun blog candy on this hop…
There is a Creative Memories corner rounder, some flowers and brads, some wackytac adhesive for vellum, a cuttlebug cut and embossing folder, a mini chipboard album and a few other things thrown in. I may come across some other things to stick in the box as well. In order to participate I would love for you to be a follower and leave a comment on this post. I will draw a random winner on Sunday night and post next week.

Thanks for stopping by on this fun hop. Your next stop is…TX Scrapper Mom http://www.txscrappermom.blogspot.com/

If you get lost, here is the whole list for this hop!

Bath Time/Nap Time layout

Wow, I finally got this layout done. I've been working on it for almost a week. For the first page I used New Arrival (for bath time), George and Basic Shapes (for the stars) and Pooh Font for the baby Pooh in the tub. On the second page I used the Nursery Rhymes cartridge.
I love the baby characters on the Pooh Font cartridge. There are only a few of them, but they are adorable. I will be using the others on some of my other baby layouts soon.

Babies are so precious when they sleep. I was pretty lucky that both of my boys were good sleepers.
Well, at least during the night. They weren't so good at taking naps once they became mobile. They just wanted to go, go, go.

Sleepy baby layout

Another baby layout. These are pictures of my son on his first day home. He looks so tiny, but he was almost 9 pounds! I used Nursery Rhymes for the title on this one.

Happy "Birth" Day

Hello. I know I've been slacking on my posts this week.  I have been doing some layouts, but haven't finished them. I'm not sure I'm done with this one either, but I feel bad for not posting anything in awhile so here it is. If I add anything to it I will come back and edit my post.     I covered a few of the photos because I don't think I looked my best in the delivery room and nobody wants to see that. Haha. These are old pictures of my second son when he was born 19 years ago. I decided it was time to get his baby book done. Yes, I'm a little behind. I did have the pictures in an album, but it was the old magnetic kind and the photos were really showing their age. I'm taking them all out, scanning them and putting them in a new photosafe album. I used Nursery Rhymes for the baby at 2 1/2" and the It's a Boy cut was at 2". The title was cut at 2" from A Childs Year.Once I get my photoshop program (and learn to use it) I will do my best to fix these photos.  In the mean time I will keep plugging away at the layouts. I hope to have more layouts more often so check back often. Cindy

Khloe Christine layout

My first layout for Khloe. I used Nursery Rhymes for the font. This picture was taken in the hospital right after she was born so it's a little dark. I have a lot more layouts planned and will hopefully have time to finish a new page everyday for awhile.

Very Thankful card

This year I am Thankful that I am not the one having Thanksgiving at my house. I truely appreciate all of the hard work that goes into preparing everything for this wonderful holiday. This year we will spend our day at my sisters for the very first time. I am in charge of bringing pies and cookies though. As I type this I have a pumpkin pie in the oven. Mmmmmm, it smells so good. Pumpkin is my favorite.
Anyway, back to my card. I was thinking along the lines of being thankful I'm not cooking when I made this one. I used the Nursery Rhymes Cricut cartridge for my chef. The paper is from Paper Trey Ink and the sentiment is from SP & Company. I also used my IRock to add a little bling. Thanks for looking.
Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
