For Christopher's 18th Birthday he wanted to play in a Texas Hold'em Tournament. The only place close to us that you can play at age 18 is Jackson Rancheria, so off we went. Mike, Mark, Michael and Christopher all entered the tournament. The first one out was Michael, next was Mark and then Mike. Christopher stayed in until 4th place - out of 23 people. One person away from the money. We later found out that the two people that got 1st and 2nd place were husband and wife and they play all the time.

Valentine's Day
Awe, my hubby is the sweetest. On Valentine's Day he made me a heart shaped pizza FOR BREAKFAST! He's definitely a keeper.
Never Too Old
On Saturday I went to my very first rubber stamp show. It was not at all what I was expecting. I'm used to the Scrapbook Expo's which are huge and have tons of people and craft booths. The Rubber Stamp show had about 15 booths and not very much product. However, the shopper that I am, I was determined to find something to buy before I left. I ended up with 5 rubber stamps. I thought they were adorable and couldn't wait to get home and make some cards. As soon as I was done I showed my son and hubby. Neither one was impressed. In fact, my son asked me why I would want to make a card with these weird looking people on them. This one in particular he said looked like a hanger. I can't be the only one that likes them though because this company was obviously selling them to other people as well. Anyway, I like them!
Barbeque Guy
I thought this Barbeque guy was really cute. Next time around I will spruce up the card a little more, but I also like it with clean simple lines.
Enjoy the Moment
This is not a very good picture because I took it with my cell phone, but I wanted to post it anyway. The card didn't really turn out the way I wanted because I made a few mistakes along the way, but I like the end result.

Olivia AKA Fatty Patty
Little Miss Olivia. This is a layout I did for the LID girls challenge on the Cricut Message Board for this week. Olivia is Christopher's kitty. We were not expecting to get another cat. We were at our Veterinarians office picking up medicine for our other kitty that was very sick. We suddenly heard this sad crying coming from the other side of the room. We looked over and the lady at the front desk saw us. She said, "she's looking for a home". Christopher went straight over and took her out of her cage. He sat down and refused to leave until I agreed that he could have her.
