Okay, I think this will be my last Christmas layout for a little while. I used the Christmas Solutions cartridge for the tree and the Home Decor cartridge for the title Memories.

Merry Christmas
Another Christmas layout made from A Child's Year cartridge. I think the layout needs more added to it, but I want to wait until I decide on the pictures before I do anything else.

Christmas layout
I'm starting on Christmas in August because that's how far behind I am. The next few Christmas layouts will be for 2009 pictures. At least I will be working on 2010 pictures after I get done with Christmas 2009. For this layout I used A Childs Year.

Who's Chicken Now?
This was a funny day. My niece Jasmine came over to visit and hubby decided to teach her how to cook a chicken. He had taught her how to make salsa awhile back and now it was time to learn something new. Jasmine was not happy about this new venture. She wouldn't even touch the chicken. Mike gave her some gloves to wear, thinking this might help. Well, as you can see by the pictures, the gloves didn't help. She didn't want to look at the chicken and she certainly didn't want to touch the chicken. Eventually Mike took over and got the chicken cooked. If we had waited on Jasmine we may have starved to death.
For this layout I used a few different cartridges. For the barn I used Create a Critter, for the chicken I used Animal Kingdom and for the title I used Lyrical Letters, Loop Dee Loo font.

Thanksgiving Layout
Another LID challenge. These are more pictures from last Thanksgiving. Just a couple more pages and I should be done and on to pictures from December. For this layout I used used Storybook for the journal boxes and the large cut on the left side. Once again I used all DCWV paper. Have a wonderful weekend.

Give Thanks Layout
Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you like the layout I have for you today. I am on a quest to get through all of my photos from 2009 so that I can feel at least a little closer to being caught up. I am now up to Thanksgiving. Woohoo. For this layout I used the sketch from the LID challenge on the Cricut Messageboard for last week. I used a couple of border punches and the Alphalicious cartridge for the font. The paper is all DCWV.

Happy Birthday Ace
Well, my youngest son just turned 19. Wow, where does the time go? Not only did he turn 19, but next week my other son will turn 22. My babies are all grown up. Christopher likes to play poker (actually any kind of cards), so I had to make him a poker themed card. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the A's and for the hearts. Very quick card, but I like the way it came out.

Got Sand?
These are pictures of my daughter in-laws car. My son and I were sizing up vynal letters for her windshield. My son and his wife like to go to Sand Mountain in Nevada to ride 4 wheelers, so she wanted a sticker for her windshield that said "Got Sand?". We cut the letters on the Cricut using the Blackletter cartridge. Unfortunately I never got a picture of the finished application before she sold the car!

Cheerleading Layout
Hello everyone. I know I haven't been posting as much as I should lately. I've been a little lazy, but trying to be better. This is a layout using Everyday Paperdolls. My nieces are both cheerleaders and I had a wonderful day watching them perform. My older niece Jasmine was crowned Homecoming Queen and I was very happy that I could be there to celebrate with her.

Baby Buggy
Isn't this a cute baby buggy? I got the idea from Helen Cummins on the Cricut Messageboard. Her version was blue and just adorable. My buggy is made from a coffee tin that I had been saving. A little paper goes a long way. Below is a picture of the buggy next to one of the coffee tins. I have a bunch of these that I have been saving for just the right project.
I used the Cricut Storybook cartridge for the circles that made the wheels. I also used a large scallop circle from Storybook, cut in half for the top. I will make several of these buggies and fill them with candies for my daughter in-laws baby shower.

Toilet Paper Caper
Okay, so I may have lost my mind. I came home from a long day at work to find toilet paper all over the place. My first thought was "what in the world happened?", but then I saw the kitties having the time of their lives. They were having so much fun running with the toilet paper in their mouths, rolling in it and hiding behind it that I couldn't stop them. I thought it was so cute I had to grab my camera and take some pictures. I found the perfect rubber stamps at Michael's that had a kitty wrapped in TP. Of course I had to buy them for this layout.
