This was a very simple card to make, but I love how it came out. I will definitely make more of this style card. I used Paper Tray Ink paper and some random stamps I had in my drawer that I thought went together well. The sentiment is from SP &Company and the tag punch is from Stampin' Up.

Happy Fall Y'all
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I will be hitting the road shortly to my sisters house where the whole family will gather for a scrumptious dinner. Then we will all look through the sales ads and decide who is going where to buy what. Black Friday shopping is a big deal with my family. We look forward to it every year, rain or shine.
For this card I used the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons cartridge. I love fall colors. Next year I think I will make a lot more fall cards. This one is one of my favorites and it was probably the most simple to make. Check back tomorrow for another fall card.

Another Thanksgiving card
If you saw yesterdays post you know that when I think of Thanksgiving I think of Pumpkin Pie. I also think of homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Yes, I love everything pumpkin. Hmmm, maybe I'll have a pumpkin Latte tomorrow morning instead of caramel.
So, todays card features an image from a Childs Year that reminds me of everything baked. I'm not the cook in my family (that would be my hubby), but I do like to bake a few things. The paper is from Paper Trey Ink and the sentiment is from SP & Company.
I want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

Very Thankful card
This year I am Thankful that I am not the one having Thanksgiving at my house. I truely appreciate all of the hard work that goes into preparing everything for this wonderful holiday. This year we will spend our day at my sisters for the very first time. I am in charge of bringing pies and cookies though. As I type this I have a pumpkin pie in the oven. Mmmmmm, it smells so good. Pumpkin is my favorite.
Anyway, back to my card. I was thinking along the lines of being thankful I'm not cooking when I made this one. I used the Nursery Rhymes Cricut cartridge for my chef. The paper is from Paper Trey Ink and the sentiment is from SP & Company. I also used my IRock to add a little bling. Thanks for looking.

Seasons Greetings
Yay, I got another Christmas card done. Now if I could just get started on my Christmas shopping. I haven't gotten one single thing yet. Even worse than that, I don't have a clue what to buy anyone this year. It was so much easier when my boys were little. Toys are easy to buy. Now that they're grown it's more expensive and more difficult to figure out what they want. Hopefully I can figure out my list before Black Friday and get it all done in one day. Not likely, but that would be nice. Have a wonderful week everyone. I'll be back in jury duty for awhile.

You're the best!
I can't believe I actually have a little stash of cards done right now. I still have lots of Christmas cards I need to make though. Anyway, I like these girls because they just look silly to me. Fun and carefree. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Monday sure does come too fast.

Just Because
I love this stamp. Not totally sold on the card over-all, but love the stamp. Childhood innocence is such a great thing. I remember when I was a little girl and my parents would take me to the feed store where they would have lots of little chicks for sale. I would stay there looking at those cuties until my my mom and dad threatened to leave me there.

Christmas Penguin
Yay, I got out of court a little early today and got a couple cards put together. This card looks much cuter in person. It's hard to see the embossed background in the picture. I bought this stamp specifically for my son because he likes penguins. Hope he likes it.

Simple things, small joys
Quick and simple card today. I've been called to jury duty and they expect the trial to go past Thanksgiving, so I may not be able to post very much over the next few weeks. I'm not even sure I'll be able to get much shopping done for Christmas. I will have to use my weekends for shopping, cleaning, laundry and paying bills. Lucky for me, my wonderful husband does all of the cooking so I don't have to worry about that. I'll be back with more as soon as I can.

Life Father Like Son
This is a two page layout I did using the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons cartridge. I have pictures of my sons with their little bubble mowers following my hubby around while he mowed the lawn. They wanted to do everything daddy did. This is a nice cartridge because it has a little something for every season.

Lets talk card
I thought this stamp was just too cute to pass up. I will be sending this one to my sister, Michelle. She's the only one in my family that joins me in my crazy crafty escapades. She was with me on Black Friday when I bought my original Cricut in 2007 and the following year when I bought my Cricut Expression. We are also both hooked on Starbucks coffee, so I thought the sentiment was perfect for her. It says, "Lets talk about it over coffee and cardstock." Thanks for looking.

Hello Sunshine card
Todays card is another one of my favorites. I love the colors. I'm calling this one Gabriel after my nephew. I thought I had posted this one this morning, but realized I hadn't, so here it is a little late. I think this is the only "boy" stamp I have, but plan to get more soon. The cardstock and the sentiment are both from Paper Trey Ink.

Happy Thoughts card
Happy Veterans Day! God Bless all of those brave men and women who have served and who are still serving in our military today.
Todays card highlights a stamp image I'm calling Brianna because she looks like my niece Brianna. The stamp is from Mo Manning/Stampavie. The cardstock is by PaperTrey Ink and so is the sentiment. Stay tuned for more cards to come (I still have more relatives to represent)LOL.

Listen to the Whispers
Happy Wednesday. Todays card was inspired by my Niece Allie. I have learned that all of the stamps I've bought lately have been because they remind me of someone. I'm calling this my Allie Stamp because this young girl reminds me of her. Tomorrow I will post a card with what I'm calling my Brianna Stamp. Both todays and tomorrows stamps are from Mo Manning/Stampavie. I hope you're enjoying these cards as much as I am.

Hugs & Kisses card
Here is another stamped image colored with my Copics. I am having so much fun with these stamps. I chose this stamp because I thought this little girl was adorable. My son is expecting his first baby in December. My first grandbaby. Even though we haven't met yet, this image made me think of her. I am so excited and can hardly wait for her delivery.

You make life fun card
Okay, I think this might be my favorite so far. The coloring is not very good on this one. Had some bleeding with the blue, but the image is super cute and I will definitely make more cards with this one. This is another stamp from Gillian Roberts/Stampavie. The cardstock is Paper Trey. The patterned paper is from my scrap pile and the border punch is a new one from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is also from Paper Trey. Back to work now. I still have more images to color. I'm having so much fun with my Copics.

Sending you Smiles card
Isn't this little mouse adorable? He's so cheery. I know the sentiment is a little hard to read in this picture. It says, Sending you Smiles. The stamp is from Tina Wenke/Stampavie. The cardstock is Paper Trey and the patterned paper is from Stampin' Up. The sentiment is from SP stamps.

Happy Holidays card
I'm still coloring! I tried to color a Santa Claus for a Christmas card, but I quickly found out that red is not the easiest of the Copic colors to use. And then came the black boots.... well, you won't be seeing Santa Claus in my posts. That's all I gotta say. The Christmas tree was much easier. The image is a clear stamp from Close to My Heart. The ribbon is Stampin' Up and the cardstock is Paper Trey. The patterned paper was out of my scrap pile, so I'm not sure what brand it is. Thanks for looking.

Thinking of You card
What a fun day today. I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento, CA and bought lots of new stamps and Copic markers. I'm still trying to learn how to use the markers and I'm not very good at it, but it sure is fun. I love love love the stamps I got today. They are the perfect size and so cute. This stamp is made by Gillian Roberts/Stampavie. It's a clear photopolymer and makes a perfect image every time. Stay tuned over the next few days because I have lots of images to practice with and will be posting the results daily.

Happy Birthday card
Happy Monday everyone and Happy November! I know I've been lagging on getting things posted to my blog lately. This colder weather has me wanting to hybernate. I'm sitting here in front of the fireplace not wanting to move. Anyway, this is a card I made last night using a couple of new items. The flowers were stamped with a Martha Stewart two-step stamp. The greeting is from a new stamp set I just got from Stephanie (the Scrapmaster). It's a set from her brand new stamp line at SP and Company. The ribbon is Stampin' Up and so is the cardstock. The sentiment was punched out using the word window punch from Stampin' Up. I also used a little bit of stickles in the center of the main flower. I hope everyone had a nice Halloween. I'm going to try to get some crafting done tomorrow and will hopefully have more to post. Thanks for visiting. Cindy
