Merry Christmas from California

This is my last Christmas card for the year. Being from California I like to send all of my out of state relatives a card with a California Cow on it. I used my Copic markers to color it. Thanks for looking and I promise to post more often again. The last couple of weeks have been quite busy for me and I haven't had much time to keep this thing updated. I have a really good excuse though. Besides the holidays, I am also a new grandma. I will post pictures of my sweet grand-daughter in my next post. She was born December 18th.

Christmas Tree card

This card is from a card kit I purchased at the Sacramento, CA scrapbook expo last month. The trees were made using sticky paper, white glitter and then coloring with Copic markers. I watched a demo while I was at the expo and fell in love with this process. This picture does not do justice to the trees. They really are pretty.

Snowman card

Love, love, love this snowman. I totally scraplifted this from Dawn Griffith. She had a video on how to make this snowman for a gift tag. You can find her videos on YouTube. All of the pieces of the snowman can be made using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge from Cricut. In Dawn's video she used punches from Stampin' Up. For the background I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the blue cardstock and then added some white ribbon.

Merry Christmas card

Hello everyone. I'm here with another Christmas card. This card was made using the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons cartridge. I also used some stickles for the red berries and my IRock for the bling. Stay tuned and I promise to have another card tomorrow.

Penguin Christmas card

First of all I'd like to say I am soooooo happy. Today was my last day of jury duty after an entire month. The days were long  and it was really hard to be away, but I am glad I was able to do my civic duty and have the experience. Now on to my card. I used Stampin' Up card stock, ribbon, word punch and scallop punch. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch on the mat. The cute little penguin is a Studio G stamp and the greeting is a stamp by SP & Company.
Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
