First Imagine project

I got my Imagine last week and I'm slowly learning how to use it. So far I already LOVE it. I made this "get well" card for my little grand-daughter Khloe. She's only 12 weeks old and has her first ear infection. Poor baby. I wish a kiss from Grandma could take it all away. Luckily her mommy took her to the doctor right away and got her some medicine. She is feeling a little better already.
Okay, back to the card. The number one reason I chose to buy an Imagine machine (besides the awesome sale at was because of my Grand-daughter and the Nursery Tails cartridge. I think the artwork on this cartridge is the most beautiful I have seen. I used it to make this card. I wasn't sure how to set the size so the layers cut out at the default size (I think 2"). The sentiment is from the Fun and Fast Notes stamp set by Stampin' Up.
For the inside of the card I added another butterfly and dragonfly from the Imagine Nursery Tails cartridge. Then I used my Exprssion to cut out "Khloe" with the Feeling Groovy Lite cartridge. I didn't want to spend so much money for a Lite cartridge, but I think it really is my all-time favorite font.

I hope my little Khloe bug feels better quickly and that she likes the card I made her.

  1. Oh ear infections are yucky.glad she is doing better. Your card is wonderful.

  2. What a beautiful card! I love this image on Nursery Tails... it was the first one I used on a project too! :) I hope little Khloe is better very soon.
