Okay, I have to say I really like my layouts today. I haven't finished the second one yet because I need to get some pictures printed, but I have them picked out. So the first one I'll show you is the girl version without pictures.
I'm still using the same paper stack by DCWV called Blossom Song. Very pretty papers in this stack. And now the layout with pictures. Oh, almost forgot, the titles are from Quarter Note.
These are pictures of my Grand-daughter when she was born and still at the hospital. The title on the left side says "A day of Firsts". The journaling tells how little Khloe is the first for everyone in our family. First baby for my son and his wife, first grand-baby for my husband and I, first great-grand-baby, first niece for my younger son and first great niece for my sisters. She is one very loved little girl.
My second layout will be for my younger son's baby book. I have the pictures I want to use, but I need to get one of them enlarged to a 5x7. Once I get them printed I will come back and edit this post with the finished layout. For now here is the layout without photos.
Update: I added pictures.
The sketch for both of these layouts is from page 61 of PageMaps 2.
Now I'm off to see what else I can create. Or maybe I'll check out some other blogs or the Cricut message board. See you soon. Cindy

Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
Ohhhhhh, such a sweet layout & story!! How blessed you all are to have Khloe in your lives - & she's a very lucky little girl too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful job. Love your color and texture choices for both.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special little girl! And what a wonderful way to preserve all these memories for her to have one day! Your layout is just beautiful and your granddaughter is a beauty!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations. now you have to tell your Son and Daughter in law, what you want to be called. I ended up with Grandma.
ReplyDeleteI love your layouts, it really does pay to follow a set design. I am new to all of this and I visit blogs to see what others are doing.
