Talk about perfect timing. I was working on this layout yesterday and got stuck in the middle of it. I couldn't find the Cricut cuts I wanted to use on the cartridges I already have. I needed a scallop circle and scallop border. I also needed a pointy border (not sure what else to call it). All of a sudden the doorbell rang. I went to check and it was my Close To My Heart order with the Art Philosophy cartridge in it! I was so excited, I immediately opened the package and looked through the booklet. It had everything I wanted. Yay!
I know this isn't the most organized layout. I was trying to add as many pictures as I could to the second page. The dragonfly is also from the Art Philosophy cartridge. The only thing not from that cartridge is the font for the title.
The sketch I used is another one from Pagemaps. It was a single page sketch so I was on my own to make the messy 2nd page. LOL.
Now I'm off to work on my girl version. I have the photos picked out. Just have to pick my papers and get started. Have a wonderful rest of the holiday weekend everyone.

Don't you just love Art Philosophy? I have already decided that if I could only have one cart (please..may that never happen) this would be the one! Look forward to your girly version!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! I recv'd my Art Philosophy cart on Fri & haven't opened it yet :o !!!! I know...how ridiculous is that???!! I have an "excuse" though; I wasn't "allowed" to open it till I finished my Vegas cc & then I started messing with my newest Imagine machine...
