Happy New Year and a Resolution

Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a healthy, safe and happy start to 2012. So far so good on my end. 2011 brought lots of joy for us with the addition of little Khloë at the end of 2010. 2011 brought first words, first teeth, first time rolling over and first time crawling. The last day of the year was just as exciting for us as we watched Khloë take her first 10 steps in a row. We cheered and clapped and Kholoë gave us that heart melting smile we love.

2012 started with getting a message from my boss that the office will be closed tomorrow and I don't need to go into work. Woohooo, Yay, Yippee, another day off! I could get used to this. And now that I don't have to work tomorrow I will hopefully be able to get started on my New Year's Resolution.......

Once upon a time my room was clean. Then the holidays and Khloë's birthday came. Presents were put in my room for hiding, supplies were put in there for decorations and favors. Baskets to fill for presents, new Cricut cartridges and supplies came in the mail and no time for cleaning and organizing. So yes, my New Year's Resolution for 2012 is to clean and organize my room.... AGAIN! As I do this I will also be purging things that I don't need or that have been hanging around for far too long without being used. My local scrapbook store will be hosting a scrappy yard sale in March. I will start a box of items that I can bring to the yard sale and hopefully make a few dollars (to buy more scrappy things!).

What are your Resolutions for 2012?

  1. That's one of my resolutions as well. I think one of the reasons I haven't been creating as much is b/c my room looks like a tornado went through it and I have stuff scattered everywhere. Once I put everything in it's place and can walk in the room and sit at my desk I think I'll get some more creating done. Glad to see my room isn't the only one like that and I'm not the only one with that resolution :-) Hope you share a picture of yours when it's done :-)

  2. Must be a common resolution this year. Best of luck!
