I have a special little box to share today. My son and daughter in law are in the process of buying a house right now and will hopefully be able to have a house-warming party in the next couple of months. I'm so excited for them and very proud of their accomplishments. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful daughter in law. We get along great and love to craft together.
I had this idea pop in my head for cupcake boxes that look like moving boxes. I used a piece of 12x12 craft paper cut in half. This way I'm able to make two boxes with one piece of paper. A little scoring and cutting and there you go.
The arrow is a clear stamp from the set called Adventure USA from Close to my Heart. The words are just written by me.
On this first example I cut out a scallop circle with a Stampin' Up punch to make a window to see the cupcake inside. Thank You was stamped using a clear stamp from the set called Say it in Style by Close to my Heart.
On my second example I used a cuttlebug embossing folder to make the craft paper looked corrugated like cardboard. I like the way it turned out. I also used a Spellbinders Nestability to cut the rectangular opening on this one. I then used that cut-out as the tag on top of the box.
I really like the way these boxes came out. Super easy to make, but super cute as well.

New Mechanic
I had to share some pictures today of my darling little grand-daughter who is only 18 months old. She is definitely Daddy's little girl.
As you can see she is busy at work. She'll be opening up her own shop shortly if you need any work done on your vehicle. Heehee
I am really going to have fun scrapbooking these pictures. I think I'll use the title "Silly Boys, Tools are for Girls!"
or "Step aside and let a Girl show you how it's done!" Any other suggestions? I can hardly wait to print these pictures and get started. If there were only more time in the day.

Lots of Goodies!
It feels like Christmas at my house right now. I've gotten so many goodies that I don't know where to start.
I was able to do some trading and some selling of stuff I don't use and this is what I got in return. Ten (10) sets of Close To My Heart clear stamps, Three (3) sets of Spellbinders Nestabilities and one set of Spellbinders compatible label stamps.
I was having so much fun looking at each set. I've never used the Spellbinders dies before and didn't realize ahead of time that I needed a special squishy mat spacer, so I had to go buy one of those before I could get the full affect of the cutting and embossing. Once I gathered everything I needed I got to work trying out my new toys.
Aren't these cute? I was in such a hurry to try everything that I just grabbed my closest pieces of scraps. I will be adding these to cards over the next few days. Fun fun fun. See you soon.

New Vinyl Color
Hello. I received my vinyl order yesterday and I was very pleased that it was the correct color pink. I was so worried because colors can be deceiving on the computer. It is the perfect shade and the shipping was super fast. I ordered from expressionsvinyl.com on June 9th and my order was here yesterday, June 13th. Here is a picture of the same glass with the new and improved PINK.
I showed it to my friend and she loves it. We're both excited about each of the kids in the Quinceanera (this is kinda like a sweet 16 birthday) having their own glass to remember the occasion. Now my only problem is how to do decorate the glasses for the court. This one is for the guest of honour that will be celebrating her Quinceanera (15th birthday in Hispanic/Latin cultures). I wanted hers to be special so the other glasses will have a little less on them or maybe just one color. Since there are both boys and girls I'm thinking I might just use the purple color. Once I get it figured out I'll post pictures.

Custom Vinyl Glasses
Today I have another vinyl project for you. My friend's daughter is having her Quinceneara next month and I will be making the champagne glasses for her and her court. I didn't have the right fuschia pink color that will be in the ceremony, but I couldn't wait to try this out. I already ordered new vinyl and will re-do this glass when it comes in.
I used the Cricut Quarter Note cartridge for the NP and the date. I used good ol' George for the circles and Tie The Knot for the purple swirley design under the initials. This will be the glass for the guest of honor (after I change the pink). The rest of the court will have glasses that are not as fancy.
Since there are boys and girls I will make each of theirs with just purple vinyl. they will have their initials and the date. Once I buy more glasses I will start on those and post pictures later.
Thank you for stopping by.

Vinyl Project
Hello friends. I was able to spend a little time in my scraproom this afternoon. I have quite a few projects to do, but not a lot of time these days. I'm glad I can scratch one thing off my list. I saw this quote a while back and have been anxious to put it somewhere. Over the weekend I hung a rail on my wall behind the door to hang my high heels. I was keeping them in the boxes, but they took up too much room. I have another rail to put up, but for now this is what I have.
This is not the best picture because I took it with my phone, but I couldn't wait to post it. The weather has been really bad today too, so it makes it hard to get a good picture. I'll try to take a better one tomorrow.
Okay, this picture is a little better.
For Cinderella I used one of the fonts from the Cricut Calligraphy cartridge. For the rest of the quote I used Cricut Feeling Groovy. I used my Gypsy, Expression and a 24 inch mat to make it as big as I could. I used the Gypsy to weld the letters together in Cinderella.
Tomorrow my goal is to cut vinyl for champagne glasses for a friend. Wish me luck.
