I just realized I haven't posted anything since January 5th. I have been trying to finish my 2013 Project Life and keep up with 2014 so there's not much to show. Since I'm just trying to get it done at this point there's nothing fancy or exciting about it.
I have a few layouts planned, but while cleaning my room I got a little carried away and decided to re-organize yet again. Hubby agreed that I should just bite the bullet and make the dream room that I want. New cabinets and all, but I just can't seem to commit. I tend to rearrange things every few months so the thought of built in cabinets seems so permanent. What to do, what to do...
So this is my excuse for not getting any pages done.
At least the floor is mostly clean, but I have no work space right now. This was at the end of the day when I had put most things back in my room (from the living room, kitchen and the family room). I need to get some more "nice" looking storage boxes to put things in. If you look at the bottom jetmax cubes you can see most of the open shelves have papers and stuff on them. Two of them have nice black boxes that are organized and labeled with their contents. I would much rather see the boxes than the loose papers so I need to pick up about 10 more boxes. I also need to clean out some of the drawers and make better use of them. I'll keep you posted.

Project Life cards from Scraps
With a new year comes new resolutions. One of mine is to use what I have. It's so easy to buy all the new pretty supplies, but I have a room that is overflowing with supplies. I don't need to buy anymore.
So today I spent most of my time trying to use up some of my scraps. I am doing my own version of Project Life and find myself taking up a lot of time finding the right filler cards. I have a few of the Becky Higgins kits and a couple Simple Stories kits, but I get bored using the same products over and over. All of this led me to using scraps and making my own cards.
I started by pulling out some scraps of patterned paper and some old paper stacks. After I had a few patterned papers that went together I looked through my solid cardstock scraps and pulled out the colors that matched the patterns.
I cut the papers in various sizes and started gluing them together.
Once I finished with my first papers I pulled out another set of patterned papers and solid cardstock scraps. I did the same process of cutting them to various sizes and gluing them together. I made 4x6 cards and 3x4 cards.
I now have two different sets of Project Life cards that I can use in my books. I had a good time putting these together and putting my scraps to good use so I will definitely be making more of these.

December Daily - Ta Done!
Finally I was able to take some pictures of the last pages in my December Daily. It gets dark so early these days that it's hard to take pictures under lights and not get a glare from the page protectors.
December 21st I stayed with the girls while mommy and daddy went to Christmas parties. I'm not sure if you can read the journaling under Khloë's picture. While we were crafting my foot had fallen asleep because I was sitting on it. I asked Khloë if her foot ever fell asleep and she said, "yeah, I just take it to bed with me." I am still laughing about it. I mean it makes perfect sense, right?
December 22nd is when I got most of the presents wrapped.
December 23rd I still had a couple of presents left to buy and while shopping I came across this Disney doll and horse for Khloë.
This is an insert I made for the 24th. Starlet looks like she is so angry, but she really is a sweetheart. Maybe she was just upset that the dogs got a bone for Christmas and she didn't.
Poor Scooter. I gave him and Coco rawhide bones and he was so busy burying and unburying his that he rubbed the skin off his muzzle. Ouch! And yes, that's dirt on his nose.
The 24th was spent with just us and our little family. It was very nice and relaxing. Also a lot of fun watching Khloë open her presents. The top left section lifts up to reveal two more pictures.
And this is what you see when you lift the tab.
The 25th was a crazy day at my moms with the whole family. All three of my sisters and their families were there along with my Aunt and Cousin. It was loud and a lot of fun.
Just a few more pictures from the 25th.
On the 26th I was very happy to figure out how to get on the Cricut message board with my Kindle. On the 27th my dear husband was sick and miserable. He made a stop at the store and came home with every cold medicine he could find.
On the 28th I took the ornaments off the tree and hauled it out to the front yard. The rest is up to husband to deal with. LOL.
On the 29th I spent the day cleaning and playing in my scraproom.
On the 30th I had to get gas. For my morning coffee I used the mug I got a couple Christmas's ago from Khloë.
On the 31st we went out to dinner with our younger son and his girlfriend and then we went to the movies.
We were home by 9:30 and everyone was in bed early except me. I stayed up and took pictures. Nobody was happy about that.
And that sums up my December. Now I need to get started on Project Life. Anyone else doing Project Life this year?
