More Christmas cards
Okay, so now I remember why I don't use glitter very often. It's MESSY. I have a book called 10 minute cards that I look through every now and then when I need some ideas. The red card on the left is almost exactly like one in my book. It's cute and super simple to make, but the more I looked at it the more I felt it needed something more. I added the green cardstock to the background after I ran it through the cuttlebug, I used a swirly textured white cardstock (hard to see in the picture) and I popped the sentiment up with pop dots. Then came the glitter.... I ran my Christmas bulbs through the Xyron to put sticky on the top. Then it was just a matter of pouring the glitter on. This was the first time I've tried to add glitter to a cut using the Xyron and it was super easy. I love the affect and sparkle of the glitter, but now I have glitter all over my desk, my clothes and my hands. The things we do for creativity.

I do love the glitter but even just adding the other elements (texture & popping up the sentiment) makes a huge difference too!
