Little One layout

Still working on my younger son's baby album. I used New Arrival again. I love the train and the little baby feet.

Worth the Weight

This is a pretty simple layout. I used New Arrival for the pregnant lady, cut at 3.5". The title was cut from a Child's Year at 2". These are really old photos from when I was pregnant with my second son (almost 20 years ago). I was almost 9 months pregnant. We had just moved to our first house during the worst heat wave of the year and we had no air conditioning. It was torture. My son and I went to the local mall just to cool off. I'm having fun going through all of these old pictures. I'm not sure where all the time went, but it sure went fast.

Happy "Birth" Day

Hello. I know I've been slacking on my posts this week.  I have been doing some layouts, but haven't finished them. I'm not sure I'm done with this one either, but I feel bad for not posting anything in awhile so here it is. If I add anything to it I will come back and edit my post.     I covered a few of the photos because I don't think I looked my best in the delivery room and nobody wants to see that. Haha. These are old pictures of my second son when he was born 19 years ago. I decided it was time to get his baby book done. Yes, I'm a little behind. I did have the pictures in an album, but it was the old magnetic kind and the photos were really showing their age. I'm taking them all out, scanning them and putting them in a new photosafe album. I used Nursery Rhymes for the baby at 2 1/2" and the It's a Boy cut was at 2". The title was cut at 2" from A Childs Year.Once I get my photoshop program (and learn to use it) I will do my best to fix these photos.  In the mean time I will keep plugging away at the layouts. I hope to have more layouts more often so check back often. Cindy

Rain Rain Go Away

Okay, so I really need some opinions on this one. It looked much better in my head. I thought the Happy Hauntings font might look like rain coming down, but now I'm not so sure. I also used my favorite cartridge, Campin Critters, for the animals needing life rafts due to the flooding. With all the rain we were having awhile back I felt like we could be washed away and might need row boats to get around. Luckily our weather has gotten a lot better, but I know in some parts of the country the snow is relentless. I hope everyone is safe and warm. I'm not very fond of cold weather, so I can't even imagine how it must be to live where it snows. I'm cold just thinking about it. Stay warm everyone.
Cut sizes: The Duck in the life preserver was cut at 2.5", the Skunk in the boat was cut at 3" and the tree scene was cut at 6.75". The title was cut at 2" using the Happy Hauntings cartridge. The half circle behind the tree scene was cut at 12" using George and the clouds were cut from Create a Critter at 3-3.5".

Paparazzi Everywhere

As promised here is another Campin' Critters layout. The story behind this is probably obvious, but ever since my grand-daughter was born she has been bombarded by camera flashes. Photography has always been a favorite hobby of mine and my daughter in law also loves to take pictures. Needless to say little baby Khloe is always having her picture taken. At first the constant flashes bothered her, but I think she's gotten used to it now. She's only 6 weeks old and we probably have enough pictures to fill an album already.
The recipe for this layout goes like this:
The title is cut at 1.25" using the Robotz cartridge and everything else is from Campin' Critters.
Owl was cut at 3", fox was cut at 4", tree was cut at 12" and the moose was cut at 7". I thought I'd share the layout with and without pictures. Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures. I had to use the flash on the camera and they're a little washed out.

Lil Stinker layout

Another Campin' Critters layout for you today. As you can see I'm still in baby mode. When I saw this little skunk coming out of the outhouse with the toilet paper I instantly thought of this layout. One of the funniest  things being a grandma is seeing my son change his daughters first dirty diapers. I thought he was really going to get sick. He also swears that he's getting a rash everytime the baby spits up on him! Yep, this is my kind of entertainment. Once I get them developed I will add the pictures of my son changing diapers. You know, the lil stinky ones. Haha. Hope you find the humor in this like I do.
Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
