Circle Mania continues...

Saturday we woke up to beautiful weather. The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect and we had more shopping to do. LOL.

Sofia (CaliforniaRose) and myself at Archivers. We don't have any of these stores back in California. I think I bought enough stuff in two days to last until the next meet-up! Now my biggest concern is getting it home. Eeeeks!

Sunday a man had come to the hotel and was selling scrapbook stuff out of the back of his van. It was quite strange, but of course I had to go check it all out. Supposedly he had come across a woman that was getting rid of everything and he bought it from her, but didn't know what to do with it. Hmmmm, hopefully that was really the case and it wasn't a disgruntled husband selling things out from under his unsuspecting wife.

Does this sound like a drug dealer selling drugs or what? I got a couple of things, but not much because I was still worried about how to get everything home.

We had a really good dinner Friday and Saturday night at the hotel. Friday my favorite was the barbeque pulled pork and the pecan pie. Saturday night the chicken parmesan and chocolate cake were De-licous! Breakfast was always good too. There's just something yummy about waking up to fresh cut up fruit every morning. And I didn't have to cut it up myself!

Sunday night we were on our own for dinner so I joined a bunch of the girls for a trip to the Cheesecake Factory. Don't laugh at me, but I really did not know they served food. I thought it was just a big cheesecake shop. I was fine with just eating cheesecake for dinner, but I must say they do have some yummy food and drinks. I had fettuchine alfredo and a strawberry daiquiri.

Not only was it yummy, there was a lot of it. I had to order my cheesecake to go. I got the caramel turtle cheesecake and nibbled on it back at the hotel while relaxing in bed. Awe, the life. I could get used to that. Of course I'd probably gain a couple hundred pounds too (-:

This is a picture of Donna (ScrappyMama) taking my picture while I was taking hers at dinner.

I really should have left my big camera at home because all I used was my phone. It would have saved me some room in my suitcase for more scrappy things.

My last picture is of my Cricut Plushie and Penguin (from the Cheesecake Factory) for Khloë, safe at home. I can hardly wait for her to come over and see her new babies.

  2. Here in NJ when somebody is selling items from a van, they usually "fell off a truck", LOL!
Looks like you had a great time! Love the pics!

Blessed are the children of scrapbookers, for they shall inherit the scrapbooks.
