Circle Mania in Georgia

Those that know me know that I am not a morning person. I'm not sure why I waited until the last minute to pack, but I found myself packing for the Circle Mania event in Georgia just before walking out the door to the airport. What does that mean? It means that I had to get up early even though my flight wasn't until 11:13! This is me at the airport still half asleep because I hadn't found Starbucks yet.

My flight was supposed to leave at 11:13, but was delayed a few minutes until 11:30. Not too bad since some of the other Circle members were delayed for hours.

The flight was long, but didn't have any problems so I'm thankful for that. I watched two movies on the plane which helped pass the 4 hours and 15 minute flight.

We got to the hotel sometime after 11:00 pm so we didn't stay up too long before heading up to bed. The next morning I woke up to rain! Does it ever fail that it rains whenever I go on vacation? Rain in Las Vegas, rain in Hawaii and now rain in Georgia.

Not to worry, we still had fun. A bunch of us girls went shopping at a couple of local scrapbook stores and then had a delicious lunch.

Back at the hotel we did some crafting and a whole lotta laughing.

  1. I'm SO glad you were able to come to Mania & that you had a good time!!! Next time we'll have to work it out so that we're able to spend more time together & definitely get more pictures!! In the meantime, we should probably rest up...a lot!!...AND start savin' our quarters!

  2. Did you finally get some sleep on the plane trip BACK HOME??? 'Cause I know you didn't get much during Mania! I hope to see you at the next Mania!! Now you know from first hand experience, "rainy day in Georgia, it must be raining all over the world"!!!
