I copied and I LOVE IT!

I recently got the new Close To My Heart Idea Book/Catalog and I fell in love with the layouts and cards inside. I don't have any of their papers, but decided to try making the layout on the cover.

I went through all of my papers to find the ones that were as close as I could get.

All of these papers are from my stash. Some of them are from the scrapbook expo last November and some of them are a few years old.
I started out by cutting some butterflies from my Close to my Heart Art Philosophy cartridge at 1". I used plain vanilla cardstock.

After inking the edges I stamped them with a background stamp from Stampin' Up. I used two differnt colors of ink and then did a little more inking around the edges.

 After the butterflies were done I cut a couple of vines at 2" and flowers at 2". The flowers were cut several times with different papers and then pieced together to give each flower different colored petals.

The scallop circle in the background was cut at 10". The word Love was cut at 1". The two tabs behind the photo mats were actually one piece that was cut in half. All of the cuts on this layout were cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I obviously can't take credit for the first half of the layout, but I love how both pages came together.
