Goodie Bags
Yay, I got the goodie bags ready for the baby shower. I used Create a Critter for all the animals. They are layered on a green background that was cut out of the Cricut Storybook cartridge. The clothespin that is holding the bags closed will be used for the clothespin game during the shower. Inside the bags I will add some candy treats, a pen with the baby's name and the other games that will be played during the shower. There will be a word scramble, baby bingo and a couple of others. I am so excited for this weekend. The mommy to be has no idea about all of the things I've put together for her and I can't wait to see her face when she walks in the house.

Diaper Cake for Baby Khloe
The last few days have been so busy and so much fun at the same time. The baby shower is this weekend for my son and his wife, so this last weekend I spent putting together the diaper cake and other goodies for the shower. I love how it turned out. I also made little candy favors using life savers. I cut tags out of the Cricut Storybook cartridge and then I stamped Khloe on them. I also put her name on tags attached to the pens we will use for the shower games. You can see those in the second picture on the left hand side of the diaper cake. I still have lots to do, but I feel better now that the cake is done. Next will be a banner and some gift bags. Then if I have time I will cut Khloe out of vinyl to put on the big mirror in our front room where we will gather for the party. Lots of ideas and I'm running out of time. Hope everyone is having a great week.

Poker Players Birthday Card
Another year gone by. It goes way too fast. It seems like just last month we were celebrating Christopher's 18th birthday and now he's already 19. For this card I used Plantin Schoolbook.

Clip Boards for Baby Shower
I bought some clipboards at the dollar store awhile back and decided to decorate them for the baby shower. On the front is decorative paper from Creative Memories. On the back is more of the same paper and baby Khloe's name. For the font I used the Cricut Storybook cartridge.

Hippo Birthday Card
I love the Create A Critter cartridge. This is a super simple birthday card I made using the Hippo from the cartridge.

Baby Shower Ink Pen Tags
Well, I'm still getting ready for my Daughter in Laws baby shower. I wanted a way to dress up ordinary pens that we will use for the games so I made little tags and hung a charm from them. The baby will be named Khloe and when the guests leave after the shower they will be able to keep the pens as one of their thank you gifts.

Homework Poster Board
What a fun Friday night. My little sister came over to work on some homework for college and we stayed up until 3:30 in the morning. Her group of 5 had to come up with a poster board showing their goals. They called their group "The Goalies" and used soccer balls to show forward motion towards their goals. The roadrunner is the school mascot and represents school and education for them. The soccer balls will have the pictures of the students on them next to the picture of goal each of them have. We used Mickey Mouse font for the title and Every Day Paper Dolls for the Soccer Net. We also used Picturesque for the grass.

Fall colored in Pink
I really stretched my imagination on this one, but I like how it turned out. I combined two challenges this week in order to come up with this layout. On the Circle message board the challenge was to make a card or layout that has to do with Fall. On the Cricut message board in the layout section there is a LID challenge by Bearylish to use a sketch that she made. In her sketch the she showed a flower instead of a leaf, but the rest of the first page is pretty close to what she had. I was thinking about what I would be doing this fall. Of course there are the usual things like Halloween and Thanksgiving, but this year I will be expecting my very first grandbaby. She will also be the first girl in our family, so of course everything will have to be PINK. For this layout I used a lot of different cartridges. I used A Child's Year for all the fonts, the postage stamp background was made from Sweethearts, the circles were made from George and Basic Shapes, the buggy is from Graphically Speaking and the leaves and leaf corners are from Straight From The Nest.

Updated Circle Calling Card
I've updated and changed my calling cards a little bit. I still have a lot to make before October so they may change again. I have my name, blog address and other information on the back. I'm so excited to go to the Utah Swarm in October. It will be my first ever swarm, first time flying without hubby, first time going to Utah and first time attending a Circle Event. I can hardly wait, but I have a lot to do to get ready before then.

Expecting Mom Card
I have wanted the New Arrival cartridge for the longest time, just for this cut. I love the pregnant lady. I think she's adorable. So, of course she was the first thing I cut out when I won the cartridge on Ebay. The sentiment at the top says "sugar and spice and everything nice". The fence is from Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.

Baby Shower Invitations
Well, it's almost time to send out the invitations for my Daughter-n-Laws baby shower. I can't make up my mind how I want them to look so I keep making them different. By the time I find "the one" I want to use I'll have enough made and everyone will probably get something different. That's not so bad I guess. The second card I made using the idea in the Graphically Speaking book. I just used pink instead of blue. The first card uses the same buggy from Graphically Speaking and the scallop circle from Sugar and Spice.

Baby Shower invitation
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day Holiday. I received my New Arrival cartridge in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to make something with it. I had been wanting this cartridge for a long time, but never got it because there were always other cartridges I wanted to get first and besides, my babies are all grown up so I didn't know how much I would use it. Well, after finding out that my son and his wife were expecting a baby I knew I had to get it. The card I made will be one of the baby shower invitations I send out to our friends and family.

Wedding Favors
I'm a little late posting these because I actually forgot. My son was married in May of this year and I made all of the favors for the wedding. I've seen this idea a few times on the internet and thought it would be perfect using the wedding colors. I printed the Bride and Grooms name and the wedding date on cardstock and cut it to size, then I wrapped Hershey's nuggets with it. After all the candies were wrapped, I tucked them into store bought favor boxes. They were a big hit at the wedding and definitley more personal than a bag of almonds.

Cricut Circle Calling Cards
Anyone going to the Cricut Circle Swarm in Utah? It's only a month away and I'm trying to come up with a calling card to hand out that represents me. My Message Board name on the Provo Craft message board is CindyLouScrappinWho. The above picture shows 6 different cards I have come up with. Please leave me a comment and let me know which card you like the best (or if you don't like any of them). I will add my personal information on the back of them before handing them out to other Circle Members that I meet in Utah. Thank you for looking. I look forward to hearing what you think. Cindy

Diaper Cake
This is the very first diaper cake I've ever made. I made it in April for my sister, but I forgot to post it on my blog. It was a lot of fun to make and I will definitely make another one. There's so many things you can add or change to get a completely different look.
